Dr. Thompson’s interest for surgery began during his years of undergraduate studies at The College of Wooster completing his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology while also shadowing various physicians. He subsequently attended medical school at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Dr. Thompson then completed an orthopedic foot and ankle reconstructive fellowship at Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center located in Columbus, OH.

Dr. Jose Gonzalez is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the treatment of the foot and ankle. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of Texas at El Paso, and his medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH. He then completed his surgical residency at Dekalb Medical Center in Atlanta, GA, and continued on with a fellowship at Village Podiatry Group in Atlanta, GA.
